An architect who visited the Worli Crematorium told us that designing and building this kind of a public building is a once in a lifetime privilege and carries with it an immense responsibility. This project was the dream of two medical practitioners Dr Ramnik Parekh and Dr Bharat Parekh. They also run an excellent funeral service called Antim Sanskar which provides great dignity to one’s final journey. This same philosophy and love was followed in creating this project by the whole team including the Parekhs, the many generous donors, the Architects team lead by Rahul Mehrotra ( RMA Architects) and the Panora team
